FAQs

How do I book a ride?

You can book directly through our website! Choose your prefered adventure from the dropdown menu at the top, select your date and time, and follow the steps to confirm. Need help? Contact us via WhatsApp, phone, or email.

Where are you located?

We are about 25 minutes from downtown Ensenada and the cruise ship port. You’ll receive directions automatically after booking.

Do you offer transportation?

Roundtrip transportation from downtown is available for $35 per group, for up to 10 people. You can add this during checkout or contact us to arrange it.

Do you accept walk-ins?

Yes, but we recommend calling or messaging first to assure availability.

What if we arrive late?

Please make every effort to be on time. If you’re running late, contact us immediately. We may be able to wait a few minutes, but longer delays could shorten your ride or result in cancellation without a refund.

I’m arriving on a cruise ship – can I ride?

Yes! Cruise guests are welcome. Most need to keep in mind the port departure time of your cruise, and book the morning or early afternoon rides. Due to duration, the combo ride is only available for morning rides. If your cruise departs later in the evening, feel free to contact us about options.

Do you offer private rides?

Yes, private tours are available upon request and subject to availability. Contact us to arrange something special!

I’ve never ridden a horse- can I still join?

Absolutely! Most guests are beginners. We’ll match you with a horse suited to your experience and comfort level, and give you a short intro before the ride.

Can children ride?

Yes! Children 6 and up can ride their own horse. 5 and under may ride with an adult, as long as both fit in the saddle. We can lead the horse for younger or nervous riders.

Can I ride if I’m pregnant or have a heart condition?

Please consult your doctor before booking.

Is there a weight limit?

Yes. For the safety of our horses, the limit is 280 lbs (127 kg). If you’re unsure, please message us before booking.

I’m nervous around horses – can I still ride?

Yes! We work with many first-time and nervous riders. We’ll go at your pace and match you with a gentle horse. If needed, we can have a guide lead the horse for you.

How long are the rides?

1.5 hours for a beach or mountain trail ride, or 3 hours for a combo ride.

Can I trot or canter?

Yes – if you’re experienced and the terrain allows it. Let your guide know ahead of time so we can plan accordingly.

Do you ride in the rain?

We ride in light rain. In case of heavy storms or unsafe conditions, we’ll reschedule or refund your booking. Weather varies, so the final call is made day-of.

Can I bring a camera or phone?

Yes! Just make sure your device is secure while riding. Your guide can help take photos if you’d like.

What should I wear?

Close-toe shoes and longer pants or shorts are best – but not required. Comfort is key.

What should I bring?

We provide helmets and riding gear. You can bring water, sunscreen, snacks, and a camera or phone.

Do you have a bathroom?

Yes, we have a basic restroom available at the ranch. There are no restrooms on the trail.

Can I bring my dog?

Friendly, well-behaved dogs are allowed. Please let us know in advance. Visitors assume all responsibility for their dogs if they choose to bring them.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations with 48 hours advanced notice are allowed a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours and no-shows are non-refundable.

What forms of payment do you accept?

All tours are booked online using a credit or debit card. On-site extras (like carrots or tips) can be paid in cash (USD or pesos), or via Venmo / PayPal (3% fee applies).

Do your guides accept tips?

While appreciated, we encourage thoughtful and balanced tipping. A fair tip is $5-10 USD per worker.
