I was born and raised in WA state, where I grew up around horses. When I was in high school, I said I wanted to move to Mexico.  I wasn’t sure why – I had never been there before. But I had my heart set on it. In 2011 I vacationed in Baja, and stayed for a month. I didn’t want to leave; I fell in love. I moved to Ensenada in 2012 after selling my landscape business up north. 

I started Desert Trails in 2013 with 2 horses, and I’ve been following my heart and dreams ever since.

Several years later I met my business partner. Together we have grown the business to more than 10 horses, and have my son, Luke, who loves to go riding with us.
